Koninklijke Louwman Group and Bloemberg Automotive have entered into a joint venture for the Arnhem–Zevenaar region. As of September 1, the activities of Louwman Arnhem and Lexus Arnhem have been integrated into Bloemberg Automotive, and the two will continue under the new name: Bloemberg Arnhem. With this step, both parties strengthen their position in the market and commit to further growth of the Toyota and Lexus brands in the region.
Day-to-day management will be in the hands of Bloemberg. Louwman will remain closely involved in the operations as a minority shareholder. The partnership underlines the confidence in the entrepreneurship and customer focus of Bloemberg Automotive, which has been active in the region for 50 years and is known for its personal service. This step seamlessly aligns with the network strategy of Toyota and Lexus Netherlands, which emphasizes local entrepreneurship and efficient collaboration.
“We have already experienced in the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe how much added value cooperation with local entrepreneurship can bring,” said Eric Louwman, President of Louwman Group. “We believe in this approach in Arnhem as well: by joining forces, we create room for targeted investments and growth. That provides clarity and confidence for the future—for customers, colleagues, and our brands alike.”
Carlo Bloemberg, Managing Director of Bloemberg Automotive, added: “We look forward to building a strong, future-proof organization together with our colleagues from Louwman Arnhem. This is the merger of two family businesses that share a belief in people-centered work, local roots, and sustainable growth.”
For customers, this primarily means continuity: they remain welcome at the familiar Arnhem location, with the same faces and the same high level of customer service they are used to. Only the name changes: Bloemberg Arnhem.
