About Louwman Group

Louwman Group is a family business established in 1923. We work based on our mission: the passion to move people. Customers, employees and society are central to all we do.

We want to offer them the best-fitting mobility. We live by five core values: customer driven, continuous improvement, feeling responsible, together we are Louwman and show courage.

The Louwman Group activities are allocated across six divisions. There is also a group staff and the Louwman Museum.

With import companies for such automobile brands as Toyota, Lexus, Morgan and Suzuki, Louwman Group has been among the largest automobile distributors in Europe for decades. Motorcycles and outboard engines are also familiar sectors. The Louwman Dealer Groep covers more than 50 retail locations.

But our passion to move people goes even further. As a provider of healthcare assistive aids and a specialist in adapting vehicles and residences, we, together with Welzorg and RSR Revalidatieservice, support customers with functional or mobility limitations. In addition, our activities include those in the area of (private) leasing and financing, parts supply, logistics and real estate and we have our own Louwman Museum.

On this solid foundation, we are developing ourselves as a mobility provider in an increasingly broad perspective. For example, we opened auto.nl, a webshop for cars, and we conjoin various mobility solutions with our own label, Driven, and we think sustainably with Fietsvoordeelshop.nl and car-sharing company WeGo. And together with leading partners, Mobility Invest Group focuses on various transportation services in subscription form.

Innovation, Digital & Data

ID&D has a broad, connecting role within the Louwman Group. The division consists of a remarkable composition of companies, with the focus on collaboration with other divisions and operating companies. With the assistance of the teams at Customer Experience Center, Insights Reporting and Experience, we work on innovative projects in the areas of media, technology and new mobility.

Louwman Care

Louwman Care is composed of seven operating companies. Together they focus on maximum independence for senior citizens and people with physical disabilities. In broad-brush terms, this ranges from providing assistive devices to adapting cars, residences and workplaces.

Louwman Retail Automotive

The Retail Automotive division consists of the Louwman Dealer Group, which covers more than 50 retail locations, and Louwman Exclusive, in Utrecht.

Wholesale Automotive

Setting the pace in mobility: Louwman Group's vision certainly applies to Wholesale Automotive. Because, as the importer of brands including Toyota, the brand with the lowest average CO2emissions per car per kilometre, the division is responsible for the sale of a large share of the hybrid cars driving around on Dutch roads. There's a good reason that the Toyota Yaris was chosen European Car of the Year this year for the third time. Toyota is also the front runner in the area of hydrogen vehicles.
