JUIZZ and Fietsvoordeelshop.nl will continue as one retail brand. Both brands are part of the Dutch bicycle company CycloVriend, a subsidiary of the Louwman Group since 2023. The name JUIZZ will disappear. Most JUIZZ stores will be converted into a branch of Fietsvoordeelshop.nl. In addition, JUIZZ brands such as Lovens and Urban Arrow have been included in the Fietsvoordeelshop.nl collection.
Being able to add JUIZZ’ successful brands to the Fietsvoordeelshop.nl collection was an important condition for the decision, according to Mark Vriend, CEO of CycloVriend. Vriend: “With Fietsvoordeelshop.nl we have been reaching a broad target group of recreational cyclists, commuter cyclists and families for years. We can serve the latter group in particular even better with the JUIZZ cargo bike collection. For families and entrepreneurs, the most important users of cargo bikes, the choice is simply a lot bigger. Both online and in a store nearby.”
Successful combination thanks to broader collection
Earlier this year, CycloVriend opened stores in Haarlem and Nijmegen with combined collections. This pilot was a success: the results are great and customer satisfaction is exceptionally high. The approach will be leading for the upcoming store renovations. The only difference will be the fact that just one brand will be on the facade instead of two.
Top-level service
There are 29 Fietsvoordeelshop.nl stores and 11 JUIZZ stores in the Netherlands. Most JUIZZ stores are being converted into a Fietsvoordeelshop.nl branch. Only in Breda, Rotterdam and Zwolle the store disappeared from the current JUIZZ location, as a Fietsvoordeelshop.nl store is also located in these cities. Vriend: ‘In all our stores we provide maintenance and service of the highest level, regardless of which logo is on the facade. We will continue to do this in all cities where we are present, with the same familiar faces.’
More cargo bikes
There will soon be 2 Fietsvoordeelshop.nl stores in Amersfoort, Utrecht and Eindhoven. Vriend: “This gives us the opportunity to fill in the assortment differently for each store. The basic collection is the same for all stores, with the most popular e-bikes and city bikes from a wide range of the most popular brands. JUIZZ stores are set up for a considerable cargo bike collection, so we will offer more cargo bikes at these locations than in the average Fietsvoordeelshop.nl store.”
